This afternoon, the second free practice session of the day took place. As soon as the green flag flew, all the cars took to the track. Two Full Course Yellows interrupted the session to secure cars that stopped on track.
Team Virage continued their impressive run in free practice, securing the top two spots. The #1 Ligier JS P4 of Theo Micouris and Haydn Chance led the way at 1:45.09s, closely followed by the #66 of Jeronimo Berrio and Pedro Moreno. The #7 of Inter Europol Competition, driven by Romain Favre, slotted in third with a lap of 1:46.188s.
The #16 Pegasus Racing of AM category driver, Yuki Tanaka, stopped on track during the session due to a technical issue. The session resumed after being stopped by a Full Course Yellow for safety concerns.
In the JS2 R category, Frenchman Clément Moreno, behind the wheel of the #31 from ANS Motorsport, again topped the overall and AM classifications with a best lap of 1:52.281s. Next was the #60 of Iron Lynx by LRMotorsport #60 (Gregorio Bertocco / Matteo Pianezzola), which posted a lap of 1:53.071s and the #18 Pegasus Racing Ligier JS2 R with Louis Stern at the commands.
The duo of Jacques Nicolet and Sita Vanmeert topped the PRO-AM ranks with a time of 1:53.729s.
The #53 M Racing entry caused the second Full Course Yellow after running into the gravel trap but was able to rejoin the track unhindered.
The two 15-minute qualifying sessions will occur at 5 pm and 5:20 pm.
