The second 40-minute free practice session this afternoon at Circuit Paul Ricard allowed the Ligier European Series teams to make the final adjustments ahead of qualifying, which begins at 5:15 pm.
Team Virage once again dominated the JS P4 category with the #1 of Theo Micouris and Haydn Chance and a lap of 1:59.725s, followed by the #66 of Pedro Moreno and Jeronimo Berrio (1:59.769s). ANS Motorsport was third, with Iko Segret in the #6 JS P4.
Umberto d’Amato and Paschalis Paris Stavrakidis (Team Virage #32) led the way in the PRO-AM class, as did Yuki Tanaka (Pegasus Racing) in the AM category.
Cindy Gudet (M Racing #53) led the JS2 R category with a best lap of 2:08.161s. Her teammates Gianfranco Barbara and Tomas Granzella in the #69 car were close behind at 2:08.451s. Race 1 Barcelona winners Antoine Lepesqueux and Noé Da Cuhna were third best at 2:08.805s.
Julien Shell and David Caussanel in the #29 Pegasus Racing car topped the PRO-AM classification, and Clément Moreno in the #31 ANS Motorsport JS2 R headed the AM category.
The two 15-minute qualifying sessions will take place at 5:15 and 5:35 pm.
