The Mugello Heat, the penultimate round of the 2024 Ligier European Series, is underway. The 20 entries took to the Mugello track for the very first time Friday morning for the opening free practice session of the weekend.
The forty-minute session was interrupted by a Full Course Yellow after Iko Segret’s #6 JS P4 (ANS Motorsport) went off the track at Turn 3. Then, with 11 minutes remaining in the session, the #66 Team Virage, driven by Jeronimo Berrio and the #3 Smart Driving car with Alin Fulga aboard, ended up in the gravel trap, resulting in the session being red-flagged. The session quickly resumed for four minutes.
