Following the announcement by the ACO that the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans will be postponed from 12-13 June to 21-22 August, the Le Castellet Heat will take place on 4-5 June.
Originally scheduled on 27-28 August, one week after the revised date for Le Mans, the French event of the 2021 Ligier European Series will now become Heat 3, slotting into the schedule between Red Bull Ring (14-15 May) and Monza (9-10 July).
