Champion in season one of the Ligier European Series with three pole positions, three victories and seven podiums in the Ligier JS P4 category, HP Racing Team intends to add another title in the series. It returns in 2021 with its #50 Ligier JS P4 to put its crown on the line.
Created in 2019, the Italian HP Racing Team debuted that same year in the Ultimate Cup Series with its #50 Ligier JS P4. Associated with Antonio Ferrari’s Eurointernational squad, who ran the car, success came quickly with its first title in the category.
In 2020, and still in partnership with Eurointernational, HP Racing Team set off on a new adventure in the Ligier European Series. Gentleman driver Andrea Dromedari, who raced for the team in 2019, was back behind the wheel. The team soon took the advantage and wrested away the title from its closest rival, the Belgian Milo Racing team in the season-finale at Portimao.
In 2021, HP Racing Team returns to the Ligier European Series determined to add a third title to its name.
Abramo Levato, Team Owner HP Racing Team: ”We are very happy to be able to participate again in the Ligier European Series with our Ligier JS P4. The attitude of HP Racing Team is to compete and enjoy ourselves as much as we can and in total safety. And this is possible with the Ligier JS P4 made entirely of carbon, as our results prove. It was fantastic to win the title in season one of the Ligier European Series. I would like to thank the Eurointernational team and Antonio Ferrari for their professionalism which enabled us and our driver Andrea Dromedari to attain this result. Of course, the goal for season two is to build on our momentum and win a third title. The competition promises to be even more intense this year than in 2020 with a well-supplied line-up in the Ligier JS P4 category. We’re going to give it our very best!”
