This Sunday morning, free practice got underway for round two of the Ligier European Series on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. The drivers of the single-make series had the opportunity to discover (or rediscover, for those already present last year) the famous Le Mans circuit. The #4 HPRacing by Monza Garage Ligier JS P4 and the #10 RLR MSport Ligier JS2 R topped their respective categories.
JS P4 category: James Winslow in the #4 HPRacing by Monza Garage car tops the timesheets
With the best lap of 4:13.044s, James Winslow in the #4 HPRacing by Monza Garage Ligier JS P4 topped the timesheets in the sports prototype category.
In the PRO-AM class, Steve Zacchia and local racer Louis Rossi in the #50 Les Deux Arbres Ligier JS P4 set the fastest lap of 4:18.831s.
The AM class was led by Lance Fenton and Kevin Madsen in the #1 Team Virage Ligier JS P4, in 4:22.153s.
JS2 R category: RLR MSport’s GT #10 makes a successful debut at Le Mans
The fastest lap in the GT category was put in by Maximus Mayer and Simon Butler in the PRO-AM classed #10 RLR MSport Ligier JS2 R in 4:25.981s.
Julien Lemoine in the #42 ANS Motorsport Ligier JS2 R was best in the AM class, with a lap of 4:33.112s.
Qualifying for the race takes place at 9:15 am.
