
Round three of the 2025 Ligier European Series got underway on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. During the 45-minute free practice session on Sunday morning, 8 June 2025, drivers in the JS P4 and JS2 R categories took advantage of ideal conditions to familiarise themselves with the circuit and fine-tune their setups before qualifying.
JS P4: Iko Segret (ANS Motorsport) sets the pace.
From early on in the session, Iko Segret controlled the tempo in the #6 ANS Motorsport Ligier JS P4. Lap after lap, the Frenchman improved his performance to set the benchmark time of 4m10.602s. Vic Stevens was second fastest at 4m13.279s in the #27 Team Virage Ligier JS P4. Romain Boeckler, in the #22 Loire Valley Racing Ligier JS P4, was third on the timing screen with an identical time.
David Caussanel posted the fastest AM time in the #16 Ligier JS P4 of Pegasus Racing in 4m16.847s, while the #29 sister car, competing in the PRO/AM category, was quickest with a lap of 4m18.856s.

JS2 R: Riccitelli edges Lacquemanne late in the session.
It was a close battle right to the end in JS2 R. Simone Riccitelli, driving the #7 LR Motorsport Ligier JS2 R, clocked the fastest time of 4m23.892s in the final minutes of the session ahead of Martin Lacquemanne (#83 Trajectus Motorsport) with a lap of 4m25.236s. August Therbo (#57 23Events Racing) completed the top three with a time of 4m25.599s.
Ligier JS Cup France Junior driver Ethan Pharamond, in the #74 Loire Valley Racing Ligier JS2 R, was quickest among the PRO/AM drivers with a time of 4m30.293s on his debut in the championship. Florian Teillais, in the #41 VSF Sports Ligier JS2 R, set the pace in the AM class with a time of 4m26.316s.
Next up: qualifying and the race
The day continues with the 20-minute qualifying session at 9:15 am. The competitors will be back in action at 2 pm. for the one-hour race, which promises to be exciting on this legendary circuit.
