After a well-deserved summer break, the drivers of the 2025 Ligier European Series will be back in action for the fourth heat of the season on 22 and 23 August. They will head to the Belgian Ardennes and the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. At 7 km long, this legendary endurance track is also one of the most demanding: here, even the slightest mistake can be costly.
Ligier JS P4: Will ANS Motorsport keep the upper hand?
In the JS P4 category, ANS Motorsport leads the way thanks to the consistency of the #6 car of Iko Segret and Maxwell Dodds. With 104 points, two wins (races 1 in Barcelona and Le Castellet) and three second places, the duo established itself as the crew to beat in the first half of the season. Time will tell if the French team will maintain its advantage in the final three Heats.
Second in the general classification with 75 points, Romain Boeckler driving the #22 Loire Valley Racing Ligier JS P4 will target a fourth victory this season, following successes in Barcelona, Le Castellet and Le Mans. Confident and determined, the young driver is keen to shine again at another mecca of endurance racing.
Three-time defending champions Team Virage currently sit in third place with the #27 JS P4 driven by Vic Stevens and Jude Peters. After a difficult start to the season, the duo has finished third in every race since Le Castellet and are now on 55 points. Not far behind, the team’s second car, the #88 Ligier JS P4 driven by the Al-Qubaisi sisters, is close behind with 53 points.
In the other classifications, 360 Competition’s #33 Ligier JS P4 (Chris Preen/Kristian Brookes) leads the PRO-AM category with 100 points, whilst Pegasus Racing tops the AM class with Yuki Tanaka and David Caussanel’s #16 Ligier JS P4, on 111 points.

Ligier JS2 R: Head-to-head battle
The JS2 R category promises to be exceptionally competitive in the latter half of the season. After a debut marked by fierce on-track battles, only one point separates the two leading teams.
In the lead with 90 points, the #7 LR Motorsport Ligier JS2 R, driven by Simone Riccitelli, secured two victories at Le Castellet and one at Le Mans. The Italian team is determined to add Spa to its tally.
Just behind on 89 points, 23Events Racing and its #57 Ligier JS2 R, driven by August Therbo, are impressing in their debut season in the championship. The young Danish driver has already made a name for himself with a victory in Barcelona and three runner-up finishes. Will the Spa Heat result in a leadership change?
Third with 59 points, the Ligier JS2 R #18 of VSF Sports, entrusted to Lukas Papin who will share the wheel with Steven Palette for the Spa round, remains in contention. The #83 Ligier JS2 R from Trajectus Motorsport, driven by Martin Lacquemanne, follows closely behind on 55 points.
The PRO-AM classification is led by the #94 Pegasus Racing Ligier JS2 R (104 points) driven by father-and-son duo Alain and Jordan Meyer, while Florian Teillais and Tristan Clay, behind the wheel of the #41 VSF Sports Ligier JS2 R, lead the AM classification with 100 points.
