LR Dynamic Events Press Release – March 1st, 2022
The Italian team LR Dynamic Events based in Fabriano will enter the 2022 Ligier European Series for the first time with the #3 Ligier JS P4, driven by Simone Riccitelli and Nicola Neri. The team is also working on adding a Ligier JS2 R for the full season.
The drivers line up of the Ligier JS P4 will be composed of Simone Riccitelli, Italian Champion of the GT4 sprint series in 2019 and 2020, fresh of the experience in the DTM trophy in 2021, and by Nicola Neri, Italian GT Championship driver and former member of the BMW Team Italia. Both drivers got a taste of the Ligier European Series last year in Portimao, competing in the final race of the 2021 season.
The LR Dynamic Events team will participate in all six events scheduled in the calendar of the 2022 Ligier European Series, races that follow the European Le Mans Series and the famous 24 Hour of Le Mans, during the weekend of 8-11 June.
Simone Riccitelli, driver of the #3 LR Dynamic Events Ligier JS P4: “I am very happy to return in the Ligier European Series with Nicola Neri, we have shared many races together, including the last round at Portimao last year. We will start working immediately with our team on the set-up of the car to arrive at the first round as prepared as possible; our goal is clearly high!”
Nicola Neri, driver of the #3 LR Dynamic Events Ligier JS P4: “This year I will face this new adventure with a lot of emotion and enthusiasm, but also with the hope of being competitive from the start of the championship. I’m also happy to have Simone with me, we share some races together and we always had fun, I can’t wait to start!”
Luca Riccitelli, Team Manager of LR Dynamic Events: “As a team participating in the Ligier European Series will be a great challenge and we can’t wait to jump into the field. The Ligier JS P4 is a really nice car and for us it will be very interesting to understand its dynamics. We have a good line up and we are sure that we will do a great job. We also have a Ligier JS2 R and we are working to find drivers available to enter the season. Our aim is to have both cars at the start of the season in Le Castellet!”
