Iko Segret, ANS Motorsport, Ligier JS P4 #6, pole position, race 1 :

“Between the free practice sessions and qualifying, we worked hard with the team on the car to adjust the settings. I want to thank them because it paid off. We came away with pole position. I can’t wait to get started tomorrow. Maxwell [Dodds] and I have good speed, so I’m confident.”

Dario Cabanelas, Team Virage, Ligier JS P4 #1, pole position, race 2 :

“I’m thrilled to be on pole. We worked hard with the team. This morning was challenging, but we found the right settings. I hadn’t driven this car on this track before, but felt right at home. I tried to push a little bit harder on every lap. I am looking forward to tomorrow. It will be my first time starting from pole position in an endurance race.”

The JS2 R category was a fierce contest in both qualifying sessions. At the end of the first 15 minutes, Simone Riccitelli** in the #7 of LR Motorsport secured his third pole position with a time of 2m14.428s, followed by Lukas Papin in the #18 from VSF Sports in 2m14.487s and August Therbo in the #57 23Events Racing entry, in 2m15.523s to complete the top three.

Simone Ricittelli, LR Motorsport, Ligier JS2 R #7, pole position, race 1:

“I’m really happy because today all the drivers in JS2 R were really close. I knew it was going to be tough to get the car on pole. I learned that I had clinched pole after qualifying 2. The other drivers did an amazing job.”

Simone Ricittelli, LR Motorsport, Ligier JS2 R #7, pole position, race 2:

“I went into qualifying 2 without knowing that I had taken the pole for race 1. So I pushed even more. It was probably one of the greatest laps I’ve ever done in my career. I’m really happy about that. But what really matters are the races tomorrow. I’m focused on bringing the victory home.”

Race 1 starts on Saturday, 3 May 2025, at 9 am for one hour of action-packed racing. Race 2 will follow from 1:05 to 2:05 pm. Both races will be streamed live on the series’ YouTube channel.
