
The second half of the 2026 Ligier European Series season is underway. On the morning of Friday 21 August, 27 competitors entered for the Spa Heat took to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the first 40-minute free practice session.
Pietro Ferri, currently second in the championship, set the pace at the wheel of #7 LR Motorsport JS P4 with a lap of 2:25.202. The #57 M Racing was second fastest, with August Therbo posting a 2:26.239, while Alex Gardner placed the #14 Team Virage third with a 2:26.265.

In the PRO-AM classification, Dominique Bastien led the way in the #69 Bretton Racing Ligier JS P4 with a lap of 2:42.299. The #48 Allay Racing JS P4 topped the AM standings thanks to Linus Hellberg’s 2:33.031.
In the JS2 R category, the #88 23Events Racing was fastest in the opening session, with Marcus Terkildsen setting a lap of 2:33.605. In doing so, he claimed his fifth consecutive fastest time in free practice. Championship leader Daniel Dallakyan set the second-fastest time at the wheel of the #41 VSF Sports with a 2:34.209. The #18 VSF Sports was third overall in JS2 R and first in the PRO-AM classification, courtesy of a 2:34.529 lap by Anthony Ghibaudo.

The #28 Pegasus Racing, driven by Christophe Weber, topped the AM classification with a lap of 2:43.939.
The second 40-minute free practice session will get under way at 13:20.
