The second free practice session of the Spa Heat took place on Friday 21 August in the afternoon on the famous rollercoaster through the Ardennes. The 40 minutes of track action gave the teams a final opportunity to fine-tune their set-ups ahead of qualifying, which gets under way on Saturday from 10:40.
The session was interrupted twice, first by a Full Course Yellow following an off-track excursion for the #75 M Racing Ligier JS2 R, then by a red flag to clear tyre debris from the circuit.
